Did anyone happen to see JT give it to one of the crowd yesterday?
Obviously someone in front of the main stand yelled out something in a smartarse manner.....as you do to ex players, players coming off and on, touch judges and referees.
Anyway whatever was said got to Jas and though I couldnt hear him, he gave a good gobfull back.

Over at the toilets we were giving a gobfull to Vella....in the first half he yelled out "oy hodgo, give us a wave!" as hodgo ran to pick up a dead ball and he did a flick wave back to us and we all cheered with our flags!!!

With the players only metres away from us it makes it SOOOOO much fun!

The players appreciated us being so close, especially Skando. At the end of the game he was determined to come over and thank us when most of the squad went the other way.

Yeah behind the posts there is awesome, you do get a good look at the game when its been played down there and you do get real close to the players. I used to sit beside the toilets for a few years , back on the hill now, and glad to be there, so much better when u wanna watch the game properly.


By the way guys, the fanatics looked awesome on sunday, all those flags and so on, well done guys keep it up!

Sure he was a great player during his time with the Magpies, and i loved him when he was with the Maggies, i think 2 out of 3 kids held him in high regards as their favourite Magpie player, but his behaviour and the way he deserted Western Suburbs back in '93, i'm sorry, but he can get stuffed.

I used to see him regularly down at one of the Coogee nightclubs and always give him a serve about leaving the Magpies,but he always took it good,he`d always have a chat and I found him to be a a genuine good bloke.He was a very good footballer and i`m positive he`ll make a good coach!
