I'm surprised about this, Williams was a fringe first grader for the Sharks and Jeremy Smith is anonymous
I know there's an interest in marketing this as league's next big scandal but I really think it's a small news story

I'm not making excuses for what has happened, I'm merely commenting on the newsworthiness of the story. I think it's a bit of a beat-up (no pun intended), who really gives a toss about a premier league player, his woman and some neville who no one has ever really heard of?

On the Williams issue, it was on both the Ch 9 and Ch 7 news tonight.

Ch 7 mentioned that he could be looking at 16 months in prison JUST for breaking his good behaviour bond, let alone the latest assault charges.

I reckon Smith should be released from the Sharks as well.
The bloke is on the bench in PL, and seems to be a troublemaker.

If Williams is guilty then the I agree with the club sacking him. Shame he is potentially a great footballer.
