JBL would have to be the worst champ since.........Vinnie Mac beat HHH. On second thoughts, at least Vince is the man! And he is entertaining.

No way! Benoit has that title for me and then Booker T for whenever he is in a title match!

Go JBL! He has moved Smackdown in the right direction when he is champ and I hope he holds it to Wrestlemania where he loses it to Angle!

Correct me if Im wrong, but I saw numerous articles in May, June and July when SD! had the lowest Ratings in the WWE for a long time, he made it worst if anything. JBL vs Angle at Wrestlemania :?, 2 heels verse each other at the grandest stage of the year? Hopefully not. I cant see BL turning Face anytime soon, and Angle needs to stay a heel In My Opinion.

The rating were low for BOTH shows, and mainly becuause of the Superbowl and American Football seasons coming to a close. OMG since Teddy Long has been in control and with JBL as champ we have seen the show in my opioion beat RAW week after week. The only decent week on RAW in the past 2 months has been Orton turning on HHH! It has been shocking! Smackdown is better. As for Angle vs JBL, I meant to say that I think that Angle will win the belt soon, whether it be against JBL or the Undertaker at Wrestlemania remains to be seen!

When JBL won the belt from Eddie SD! was low. We arn't talking about RAW, we are talking about Smackdown. JBL has been one of the worst champs ever, he has had around 1 good match worth watching. And when you say Benoit is boring, at least he has had some phenomial matches with the likes of Angle and HBK and even HHH. Smackdown may off been better then RAW, but JBL just bored everyone out of their misary. Now on RAW, i agree that it has gone down hill, and that is because of the bad storylines they have been having, thier only real shining light is Randy Orton and that is a good sign for his future.

And when you say Benoit is boring, at least he has had some phenomial matches with the likes of Angle and HBK and even HHH.

I can only name 1 watchable Benoit match and that was the Iron Man match! That is it! I love JBL's matches almost every one of them!

Now on RAW, i agree that it has gone down hill, and that is because of the bad storylines they have been having, thier only real shining light is Randy Orton and that is a good sign for his future.

It's not a good sign at all, all that shows is how much talent is being misused ie. Jerich, Kane, Christian. Just to name a few. These should ALL be main eventing!

The point is if Smackdown is doing better now than before WITH JBL as champion then there is no reason to change. He has been a good champion and whether you like him or not it has been good for Smackdown!

Benoit has had many great matches, against HHH and HBK in the triple Threat matches at Backlash and Wrestlemania. Also his match with Randy Orton was Top notch. Not only that but him and Kurt Angle have had some marvelous matches, I also remember one against Austin at Edmanton on a Smackdown Show, it was one of the matches of the year.

I dont like JBL because he cant wrestle, his Gimmick is alright, and he plays it great..But the bloke cant Wrestle. Now you got blokes like RVD, Cena, Angle and Eddige Guerrero who can wrestle that should be having thier first title reign or another title reign. I guarentee you that if Angle or Undertaker or Cena were a WWE Champ that the ratings would boost enormasly.
If you look at the ratings, everything on SD! leading up to Wrestlemania was going fantastic, then JBL wins the belt and they slide down enormasly. Dont compare this to RAW, because thats a fact..that when JBL won the belt the ratings for Sd! were going down hill. While we are on the subjuect, please name 4 great matches that JBL has had, I will start you off....The Eddie match at Judgement day. Name another 3, because as you said..."I love JBL's matches almost every one of them!"

I see your point. I just think that the ONLY thing that RAW did well in the last 2-3 months was Orton turning on Flair now that is a worry

I think he can wrestle and I find him entertaining but that is beside the point. He is doing a great job! The wrestlers you have listed:

a) RVD- would like to see him get the belt as much as you but the reality is the WWE does not
b) Cena- Is a bit young and he is filming a movie
c) Angle- Maybe but he is a heel and heel vs heel does not work well
d) Eddie- Found his title run ok but he has had a run this year so no.
e) Undertaker- Not if he is not able to be on every show!

1. Eddie at Judgement Day (as you have said)
2. Steel Cage match on Smacdown vs Eddie
3. Last Ride match vs Undertaker
4. The match where Orlando had to defend JBL's title against the Undertaker on Smackdown
5. Booker T at SS just so that Booker T does NOT get the title. I enjoyed that one!

I enjoyed ALL of these matches!

I like smackdown alot but with the great CCC 8) out for a while its gonna be hard for em to do alot..i look at CCC as a guy that they werent expecting to be big but has a huge following and when he turns face it would be cool.

well you guys gotta understand that smackdown doesnt have alot of heels..

JBL plays his role perfect, which i give credit to him..Booker is good but im kinda bored of his moves..undertaker is there part time and cant have a decent match to save his life (back in the days vs Bret Hart and etc he was great to watch)...Eddie is good and out of everyone going for the tittle he has more entertaining matches.

Another Eddie vs Kurt feud would be cool, there last WM match was good...but it would look bad for the wwe booking the same match 2 years in a row at WM.
