I dont think we need to buy a winger this guy from my memory has scored one try in rd 10, 3 in rd 11, 3 in round 12 and i think two today and set up another one. Does anybody know if he is signed up for a while or anything else about him (Age etc). Why is he not in Premier League at least???

The Eels match was very much like the Knights game with the Tigers down 12 nil in the first 10 minutes. The Tigers did well without Wara or Caldwell who appeared to me be rested from the match?

Alberts, Nash, Kmet, Pangai and Grant had big games for the Tigers and a welcome return in the last 10 minutes of the match by the goalkicking centre whose name eludes me, will certainly boost the Tigers chances in the run up to the finals.

There were a few fiery moments in the match culminating in Eels forward Brendan Oake being placed on report. This was to be expected in what was a clash between two top five team. I thought he was lucky not to have been sent off in performing a late tackle on one of our players.

Alberts again demonstrated his pace and I’m please to write that the Eels were shocked when only a few yards from the Balmain try line he ran across field and around the Eels winger and centre before being tackled by the full back just over halfway. The Tigers had too much pace and attacking flair for the Eels and this was reflected in a comment yelled by Jamie Grant to his teammates “the Eels have nothing” when the side was down 28 -22 with 7 minutes to go.

The side have mixed well and there is a self belief that is reflected in their performances.

Todd Barrow - although why he didn't take the last two kicks was beyond me?

Alberts was sensational but it was very much a team effort - I was proud of all the boys yesterday.

Parra are a class act and the fact that we fought back from being down twice was a good display of character - I really think the boys will cement a spot in the top 4 now the team has started to gel.

I also think that it was a good indication of why we need to stop trying to persist with kmet in the centres, he looked great at lock but seems to struggle to have the same impact when they play him in the backs.

Yeah the flegg side was awesome yesterday, i thought the way parra ran over them early in the second half it may've been all over but geez the boys hung in there and stole it late. It was great to see Barrow back playing, geez he's been missing a while. Alberts as usual was impressive , that try he scored in the second half was pure class.

Also where was Nowland??? i dont think i saw him out there? ankle playing up?

Wara and Nowland both where missing from the back and I was surprised to see Nashy playing out on the wing for so long - the moment he was able to get his hands on the ball more look at how the result of the match changed!!!

Alberts well I have been saying this about the bloke for some time he is sound accross all areas in defence and in attack and I really wouldn't be surprised if he does happen to get a surprise call up into the squad some time towards the end of the year if not next year!!!

Also another note good to see Harper get back his fitness he played the whole game with out a break ;-)

I think alberts has a long way to go on defense before he can even lock in a first division place. Wingers just have to be able to defend (and defend consistently) or they aren't first grade worthy. I think alberts defense has been a weakness even at jersey flegg level so I'd give him some more time in that level before talking up his first grade chances. There is no doubt about his ability to attack though. He has a lot of the great Laloa Milford about him.

Nashy was the key to our comeback to be honest and I have been saying this from day 1 why isn't he playing in the halves ????

He really does give us sooooo many more options and on top of this he really does look dangerous with the ball in hand at ALL times!
