Yes, that was him. Had a pretty distinguished career apart from that though, many would've rated him the best #6 in the world, and was one of the genuine hard men of world rugby, hit like a freight train and ran as hard as well. Would've loved to see him switch codes, he'd ever made a great League second rower.

Absolutely agree, he was one of the union players I wished league went after to switch. Would've made the switch seamlessly IMO. Such an absolute tragedy, I feel for both families so much, RIP Jerry and his Wife, just so tragic!
