Jerry Porter Activated ASTUTENESS........

In my recent NFL readings tonight I found the following which to my astuteness I picked in my NFL analysis......

The Oakland Tribune is reporting that Jerry Porter will be active for Monday night's matchup with Kansas City. Porter took a full practice on Friday, his second. He told reporters, "From what I can tell, I am ready. I am just a little stiff sometimes. But get that adrenaline flowing at game time and if somebody is chasing me, the stiffness is gone." Head coach Bill Callahan added, "I am not going to keep it a secret. We want him up. He has been a valuable player for our team. It is important that he is up (active) so we can begin to get some continuity again in our passing game."

Callahan did not indicate if Porter would be a starter, but reiterated that Porter would be playing.


Oakland Fans, this could be a massive boost against KC believe you me. Upset could be on the cards.

this kis awsome news!!! i reakon if he is ready to play this weekend then it will give the raiders a much bigger chance of winning. and if they do then it could mean that the raiders are still in it!

i gave the Raiders another go today, I try to watch them, but they are just soooo Predictable! How have they won a game all year? The only good thing they did was take Gannon off after the 2nd quarter.

i hate to admit it but i think Gannon is letting their offence down a bit. i know what u mean by predictable paullybay but i think that they are still a great team to watch. i think Marques Tuiasosopo might be the missing link in their offence and if he play like he did on monday we might see this team coming back yet. sorry richie!
