I have seen no JF this year and all I know is the grand final match up and that the Roosters are undefeated does anyone think they are a chance to beat them.

Also, could someone please tell me the result of their last meeting.

Umm i cant give you the exact score, but the sharks went close to beating them, until one player was sin binned and then the roosters caught up and one by about 8 points... i think (dont hold me on that).... and on grand final day, anything is possible.

they have both played very well this season and both deserve to be in the GF, but i am a biased bastard and am going to tip my beloved sharks to win this one...

I honestly believe we are in with a good chance. Yes the Roosters are undefeated and have a very good team, but I have vivid memories of this year's S.G Ball, where the Roosters were expected to clean up in the finals. They hit the Junior Bunnies and crashed and burned.

Not many saw that coming. The odds would have been about 1 million-to-one.

On grand final day, anything can happen and if Cronulla start well and complete our sets, then hopefully everything else will fall into place.

They nearly beat the roosters a few rounds back with some of their better playings playing up. Then the sin bin cost them.

They have always been the only side that could match it with the roosters on paper and I think they'll go very close.

Ones to watch out for

Pelo - 4
Porter - 6
Burns - 7
Lovegrove - 11
Reweti - 12

They are a good side. I saw them beat Parramatta in one of the strangest games ever(Parra scored on the bell under the sticks and missed the goal which would have tied the game thus losing them the game  )

edit - Oh and check out Bobongie number 17... You won't be able to miss him ;-)

The score between these two was 14-8 to the roosters and considering everyone else lost by 40 or more points id say the sharkies are in with a good chance this sunday cause they got nothing to lose.

Shane Flanaghan was saying in an article (I think it was Big League) that Cronulla were the one team they weren't able to completely put away and they are quite weary of them. Particularly some of our big forwards.

Bring on this game on Sunday, I deadset cannot wait.

i think this was because a lot of the team was playing up at the time

Some were, yes. But not a huge stack. A few Flegg guys were eligable for S.G ( Moke, Tupou and a few others) but that shouldn't really count because they have been in Flegg all year.

Then of course, there is Soliola who is in reserves, but was eligible for Ball.

If the Roosters had all their Flegg guys playing S.G like they should have, then I have absolutley no doubt they would have won that comp.

sharks need another trophy in their cabinet :p

I don't know if we'll be able to fit it in. The Amco cup is huge.

I have always thought the roosters arent invincible like they have been portrayed in the media.

Cronulla should have beaten them this year but shot themselves in the foot both times they have played them and the roosters were classy enough to take advantage of it. Lets hope its third time lucky!!

For mine it is a toss of the coin who will win.

Roosters are 99% of a chance to smash them and they should but Sharks would have to be atleast 1% chance to win.
