Jersey Flegg Game Postponed Tonight

The Jersey Flegg match between the South Sydney Juniors and the Sydney Roosters to be played at Telstra Stadium this afternoon has been postponed due to the inclement weather.
“Five inches of rain has fallen on the Telstra Stadium surface over the past 24 hours and to ensure the NRL match is played in the best conditions possible the Jersey Flegg game has been postponed,” Rabbitohs CEO Shane Richardson said.
“We have left it as late as we can to make this decision but in the interests of everyone involved we feel this is the correct decision.”
The South Sydney Rabbitohs vs Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles match will go ahead at 7pm at Telstra Stadium tonight. The Jersey Flegg game will be re-scheduled for a later date.
Everyone attending tonight’s match will receive a free poncho to help keep you dry throughout the match. Make sure you allow plenty of time for your journey, car parking and getting into your seats for the 7pm kick off tonight. This is the perfect opportunity to take advantage of the Rabbitohs Express train service from Central Station at 5:33pm to Sydney Olympic Park station.

Save money and avoid box office queues by pre-purchasing your match ticket from Ticketek on 132 849 or www.ticketek.com.au. The EzyTicket option allows you to purchase and print your ticket from home or office. A $4 discount is available for Rabbitohs’ home matches at Telstra Stadium when you pre-purchase. A Category 1 ticket is $28 if pre-purchased (box office price $32).

Good. I hate seeing the players run out onto an already chopped up field. They're just injurys waiting to happen.
