Thanks for the heads-up. Watched the highlights on my phone with no glasses on...could have been Elle MacPherson in the 6 for all I could see. Did notice that spilt bomb. Dufty like.

Dufty/Mudcalfe is a great comparison. All tinsel and baubles with no fekking tree

Agree. Seems to have really bought into Sharks back 5 play. Takes tough carries, runs hard and still has evasion and passing. Interesting to see if he gets an opportunity later in the year.

He was doing the same last year, now he's just way good at it. Another CTW/2RF for the meta

Jets another in yesterday some intersting points
* Hiroti playing fullback reading the stats didnt handle the ball as much as fullback normally does
* Stonestreet playing in the centres, over Taumpoeau, who is in the top 30
* Iro in centres another 200 plus metres game, 87 post contact metres, 9 tackle breaks, 1 line break and 1 line break assist, has to be close to firsts, or at least has to kept for next season
* Berrell seems to be hitting his straps, with line breaks, Line break assists, try assists, 40 tackles with only 2 misses
* Colqhoun played prop 51 minutes 13 hitups for 159 metres, 59 post contact metres
* Uele the younger only 36 minutes starting prop 13 hitups 153 metres, and 75 post contact metres
* Slade from bench 43 minutes, 10 hitups 94 metres, plays hooker and lock

Jets named spine this weekend.
1. Dykes.
6. Metcalf.
7. Miller.
9. Berrell.

Actually not bad backups as well that doesn't include Trindall

Why are developing Metcalf?

Give him to the warriors or don't play him, give some other kid his spot. Develop that kid, not someone going elsewhere!

Agreed - he can continue ply his mediocre trade at the Jets.
The talk of him is completely overblown and it is boring.

I was at Lidcombe Oval yesterday and witnessed the 21 all draw between the Jets and Magpies. Wests there bolstered by the inclusion of Nu Brown, Tyron Peachey David Nofaluma and others with plenty of first grade experience, and finished the 2nd half much stronger than the Jets. Best for the Jets were not surprisingly Lachie Miller and Jayden Berrell and Franklin Pele had his moments.
