Just letting you know that the Newtown RLFC offices will be closed from Dec 21 until Jan 22. This week is your last chance to get merchandise for Xmas.

Membership packages will be out in the new year. The club has really listened to fans and now has more membership packages than ever. Further, the packages are much more varied than they have been in years gone by.

Rumours abound that Brendo The Jet will be leaving league to play Union for the Tah's, The NRL, ARL, NSWRL and every other body will be kicking in to send him there to ensure the standard of rugby league improves.

David Gallop told several key people that he would be a natural with his inability to tackle, pass, break the line, lack of athletic ability would blend in well with the rah rah's and at the same time ensuring our code looks even better.
The union boys are interested as firstly they do not know a footballer from a chess player and BTJ has a reputation as a one man promotion machine albeit he is the only one who believes it.

Sadly, though, RUgby Union couldn't quite offer the deal I was looking for and in some crisis talks with the NRL, ARL, ESL, RLIF, NJRLFC and the men of league association, we came up with a solution.

The A grade Jets were able to secure brendo's services in a deal that will see him play out the rest of his life in a Bluebag's jersey, at a local park near YOU!
