Very important game this one. Not only for pride sake after being smashed by a Sharks side studded with ex-Jets earlier in the season either.
The table is very close as all would be aware. Jets are sitting in 5th spot with the Sharks 1 point behind them breathing down their necks !!!
A win is crucial to both sides, and a loss could see them plummet to 8th spot or even worse. Such is the closeness of the ladder......
With Sharks first grade playing in QLD there may be good support for the Sharks at Henson this weekend as their fans not making the trip north may come to support their Prem/league team.
All Jets fans should make an effort to attend this game. The attendance last week ( although the weather was terrible ) was rather ordinary going by previous crowds at the home games, and Jets will need some vocal support to get home against the Sharks this Saturday.....
With Roosters players being out injured and State of Origin absent it will be interesting what our line up shall be.
Am hearing that Josh LEWIS will not be playing as well !!!!!!!
If this is true Jets will be without their most consistant play maker and kicker in a game that is crucial to their current ladder standings. :?
The record of UNDEFEATED at Henson may be in jeopardy at the hands of a team containing several ex Jets..... It would definately be a poke in the eye with a blunt stick if the Jets go down this Saturday.
They will have to play much better than they did last weekend in order to keep the Undefeated at home record intact.
GO THE MIGHTY BLUEBAGS !!!!!!
