On Saturday at Windsor the Jets took on Erina and Windsor in their Pool and lost both in the final seconds. After being level with Erina 10-10 Erina went the length ofthe field and scored under the post to win 17-10 and against Windsor we led 18-13 before Windsor scored wide out and kicked a super goal towin 20-18.

The defence was the most physical of all games given the scores of our games with plenty of sting and considering we only had the two sessions with mainly new players it was a very good job by Trev and Gareth.

Now bring on Wednesdayat St Marys.

Bluebag, was there anyone out there last Saturday that impressed you. A possible signing for the year?

Perhaps I should rephrase my question. Was there anyone on the lis we should keep a look out for?

a few but not that many Lee Trasler will be captain this year

What about Dean LODER,Mark FAKAHUA, and Ben GARDINER?????

Loder is with Ryde/Balmain, Fakahua is trialling there and Ben may not be playing this year.

That is a shame, it is unfortunate that Newtwon can't seem to hold onto it's players just when they seem to be on the improve they go elsewhere.

The thing is we just can't always afford to keep everyone. When players sniff a chance to go to an NRL club's PL side, we are at a disadvantage to keep them. This is where a feeder team becomes important (as well as some extra money ).
