Windsor beat Newtown 40-16 at Windsor tonight. Windsor captain coach Nathan Barnes attempted to get around the JB player points index restrictions by naming only 16 players. After the NSWRL advised that this action was illegal Barnes removed himself from the side and added 2 more players to the list.

Windsor led 24-12 at half time but Barnes was unhappy with the second half where 9 sets were uncompleted. Barnes was very pleased by the performance of his props Haumono, Nuimata and Manuel. Trindall was back in the side tonight kicking 6 goals.

The score would have been larger without the efforts of the Newtown fullback Hamilton Hughes.

Windsor move to 14 points and look forward to welcoming The Entrance next week.

The lead changed 6 times today when the Bulls were away to The Entrance at EDSACC. The Bulls led 6-4 at half time but tries to the home side in the last minute of each half and the first minute of the second half allowed the Tigers to beak an 18 all deadlock.

Eddie Rotidura and Jamie Davis were oustanding for the home side and all 5 tries showed up poor judgement and positional defence from the Bull's wingers.

The Bulls had their chances making a number of lengthy breaks early in the tackle count only to see impossible passes thrown rather than taking the tackle.

The final score was The Entrance 24 Bulls 18.

The Entrance demonstrated its depth with Cameron McCauliffe, Steve Ekepati and Kel Portas all playing in the forwards for the reserve grade.

Wenty failed to back up after their tough game against The Entrance when they lost 38-24 to Souths at Ringrose today. Wenty drop to 4th position and the middle of the table is looking a bit more congested.
