Jimmy Smith - SEN Breakfast

Now that Vossy has quit breakfast radio to do the morning shift on SEN.

They are replacing him with Jimmy Smith in 2026 with Brandy.

A little taster so far in the past few weeks with Smith & Carayannis doing the summer show.

Something about Jimmy smith just irratates me.

Has for a while and now listening to him again the past couple of weeks just not a fan.

Not sure if its presenting style he just comes across as a know it all plus he likes taking potshots at fans of certain clubs which i am not a fan of personally.

I didnt really listen much to his midway show on SEN for the past 4 or 5 years for that reason.

But yeah Vossy wasn't everybody's cup of tea but his presenting style shits on Smith's for mine.

I didn't mind Jimmy Smith too much tbh but maybe that's just because his replacement, Julian King drives me insane. His pregnant pauses after he says something are just way too long.

Julian King must be the most boring person on the planet, he just drones on & on about cricket incessantly.

I actually didn't mind Jimmy Smith when he was a fill-in on the Big Sports Breakfast. Then TK and Slater left BSB and were replaced by Daley, Clarke and another guy ( name escapes me).

Smith got the s**ts, had a rant on radio about been overlooked for the BSB hosts role, and then quit.

The other day, i came across on youtube with Smith on SEN having a rant about Khawaja. Slightly over the top. The way Smith was carrying on, it seemed like Khawaja was charged by the police.

Probably Smith is trying too hard to get himself noticed. Plus he was a fringe or lower profile footballer.
