what's the story with him, is he going to get a crack in first grade this year? or will tumata moving to 6 and inglis to the centres cement his spot in the 20's for another season?

He's still got a fair bit to learn so another year playing u/20 and JBC wont hurt him. He might get a shot on the wing though if Steve Turner isnt ready for the start of the season.

Next year though, depedning on what happens with Will Chambers he'll either be starting wing or center.

Personally I got doubts whether,long term,he'll be better then Will.

Who knows if he will be better than Chambers..he is still young and needs to be eased into first grade to give him the confidence.

He will get games during SOO and this will be a good opportunity for Joe to gain a permanent starting spot.

He played first grade last year against Parrascum and scored a great runaway try.

If Turner goes due to the salary cap then who knows; we might see him in top grade next year.
