Our local rivals Whitehaven have just announced one of their new signings for the new season. Joel Penny has been drafted in on a 12 month contract to replace the Wakefield bound Sam Obst who was Haven's player of the year this season, and won National League 1 player of the year after an outstanding season for Haven, who reached the NL grand final but lost to Leigh!
Joel has been recommended by Sam who has played against him on numerous occasions.

Who is this guy??

He played in the lower grades at North Sydney for a while, played a few first grade matches for Northern Eagles, and then he went to South Sydney and played a few first grade games. I think he played mainly Fullback and winger.

That's right. Played a bit of Fullback, Centres and I do believe a game or 2 at 5/8.
