Johanson's tackle

Hi everyone,

What did you all think of Johanssons tackle in the reds v brumbies match?

I felt it was a borderline thing, it looked bad from the side angle but front on he seemed to connect shoulder to shoulder, creeping up a little in the end. Was he sidelined for a high hit or not using arms? Anyway, im not sure if anything has arisen out of it judiciary wise.

Johanssons has been a massive dissapointment for me. I was pissed he wasnt being used last year in the 12 being a massive ball runner, but it seems for good reason now.

It is good for Qld he is suspended. When he came on he stuffed up QLD's chances on Saturday. Hynes is a better inside than him!

Yeah, i dont doubt that, although lloyd has a heap of potential. I hadnt seen either of those wingers before.. i thought they were quite impressive to.
How many weeks did he get?

The only way you could possibly think it was borderline is if your last name is Tune.

Johansson nearly decapitated Mortlock, and my honest, unbiased opinion is that the referee should have produced a different colour card. Clear send off, and deserved more than the 2 weeks he got.

i'm a reds fan and i reckon the tackle was downright stupid. It was a brain melt that potentially cost us the match (at the very least a draw), and I support the call that was made to bin him and give him 2 weeks to cool his heels

Not sure how Gregans dead spear tackle gets 1 week and Johnanson gets 2 for a slap accros the face really! Mortlock was trying out for Italian soccer out there! Not saying QLD are not better than Johanson is suspended!
