But remember according to Fitzdi*khead
'Smith is practically god' (not that he said it but if he had any brains Smith would not be here)

And I can't see Cartwright leaving the roosters whilst another premiership beckons. I think that anyone but smith should be given a go and see if there is a shift in the player's attitudes. If there is, then we know what the problem was, if not the whole club should be cleaned-out and the rebuilding should start.

How about no coach, let them go out and have fun for the rest of the season.

It's worth a shot isn't it. I'd probably prefer that at the moment.

We need someone young, Dean Pay could do the job. It's just not working at the moment. Pay played under Smith though, so hopefully he wasn't too big a influence on him.

I cant believe nobody has mentioned Jason Taylor. He is an astute reader of the game, is in touch with players as he is young and is alot smarter than some of the young coaches doing the rounds these days.Lets face it if Nathan Brown can be a coach(st.geo-illa)anyone can be.

The one thing we are missing is ORGANISATION.

This only comes with a quality halfback.

If you could morph Kimmorley or Orford into parra colours we would be a different side. We need someone shouting at the lazy forwards and directing us around the park. We had absolutely no idea in attack today and no structure in defence.

Halfback is the little general - The most important player on the ground. I say if Tim Smith is too young we should do everything and I mean everything to get Orford to Parra and build the side around him.

Oh Sorry as for coaches ..... Hmmm Brian can only do so much, We just dont have the cattle.

Sorry I don't agree with throwing all our available money at one players, we did that with Dykes and now we cannot afford to retain any of our other quality players.

the last thing we need is another halfback, we have Witt and Thorman and i believe they are our future....unless we can get a bloke named Sean Long over-here......
