As far as I know he's the only coach without a club for next year, but does anyone know if he's been approached by another club, or could this be the end of his coaching career.

It'll be a sad way if it was his last, he's a good coach, got Penrith in a good position, winning the premiership in 2003. Was also good at Cronulla, I think they made the finals almost every year when he coached them.

Yeah mate i hear ya, i dont understand it either. I swear he's 10x the coach of michael hagan or brian smith (no im not paying out parra here as ur a parra fan, but those 2 are the big 2 who have changed clubs this year) because he HAS won the panthers a premiership + was a good coach at cronulla. I dont get it, its just like everyone has forgotten him or some sh*t. Ah well, all jobs are finite i guess, best of luck to him if he finishes. He'd be getting on a bit wouldnt he?

i heard a rumor that he will be looked at to replace bennet?

He has hinted retirement (he has talked about looking at properties up at the Gold Coast), but having said that, I think he'll have another go next year if someone comes along and makes an offer.

I'd love to see him in a coaching co-ordinator role at Souths.

Lang, McRae, Taylor.. would be a nice start.
