John Laws and the Panthers

Interesting reading in the 2UE website on John Laws. It basically says he will promote the Panthers from 2002-2005 for more than $100,000. He will promote the image, football teams, facilities and services of Penrith Panthers. The fans in Sydney might be able to tell me if this is working well for the Panthers. I wonder if John Laws was defending Waterhouse and Gower the other day when they were fined?

I'm sure the footy team is only a small financial concern for the conglomerate that is Panthers. In times of controversy Law$ie the whor$ie would focus on promoting Panthers the venue etc, I'm sure.
