I think John Wilson deserves a bit of credit for something I witnessed after the PL game yesterday.

There were some kids sitting just in front of us by the fence calling out to the players as they came off - most first graders tend to be in a pretty bad mood when they are playing in the lower grades and even more so after a loss but John came over to the kids, smiling and signed Autographs for them until he had to go and join the rest of the team but promised he'd come back - which he did bringing over several players from the rest of the team to also sign autographs and chat to the kids for a little while. (Bronson was another that came out of it looking good - giving a player (forget who) who looked like he was going to walk past a bit of a (friendly) push and bringing him over with him).

Its only a little thing to do but it made the kids really happy and its good to see our players looking out for the fans and actually seeming to enjoy interacting with them.

Yeah, thats great to see players doing even the little things right, i think some biggers names in the game can obviously learn a lesson or two in that. I must also say Wilson had a much better game this week, certainly his best since he's dropped back.

Good on you Brook, it's players doing little things like that for kids that secures the fan base of the future. I know most of my best 'footy' memories involve players taking the time to talk to a kid who spent the afternoon calling out to them on the field.

Big congratulations to John, Bronson and co - good job!

Luke Covell, Dene Halatau were also on the hillside fence after the game signing autographs for kids (and big kids ;-) )
They were in the corner that Covell picked up his first two try's.

Good to see the players out there amongst there gr8est fans.

Well done boys :!: :D

The player Bronson pulled over was Issaka, and to think bronson signed only one yet Luke signed about a dozen lol

But on Wilson it was great to see the whole time he just kept a smile on his face, was polite and on top of this lived up to what he promised he would do!

heheh i seen bronson come over and as everyone knows im obsessed so i was astounded. i got him to sign my arm lol :p then i went back over to the fanatics and they all said to me "did you get your jersey signed?" the reason for that is a few weeks ago i got the new tigers jersey and i got the harrison letters on the back. so off came the jersey and i ran as fast as i could over to him. i said to him "ohh i forgot to show you this" and i showed him. he tapped his mate on the shoulder and said "how cool is that mate" so i passed him the jersey and got him to sign it for me i also said "your the only one that is allowed to sign it" lol. then my favorite bit i said to him "can i have a kiss?" and he kissed me on the cheek. his friend said to me "he is single now you can hook in!" "oh tay" i said so happy "sounds good" :D :D
