It will be interesting to see how they combine, to be honest i don't think they will compliment each other but i will be happy to be proved wrong. Both players like to organise and control the kicking game.
Hopefully we will see more of a running game from Briers.

Briers will be sitting in the backseat whether he likes it or not. If he doesn't, Johns will put him into place like he did to Lee Jackson back in the day

I think Briers will have to shut up on this event, listen intently to Joey and he'll become a better player for it.

I don't care who you are, anyone can learn a few things from Joey and I think Briers... Welish Internationa or not... knows that Joey is in another class above the rest

Briers will be a better player for Johns coming over here. The improvement in his game when we had Langer was pretty impressive, and gave him much more space to run into. He's had much of the creative burden on him recently, having Johns removes much of that pressure. Briers won't be targeted as much too, the defense will be concerned on shutting down Johns (best of luck etc).

I can't wait till saturday, Warrington as a town is buzzing about the game on Saturday, a sold out HJ,as Paul Cullen said in a recent interview 'strap in and enjoy the ride'

Last season, Matty Johns spent one day in Canberra with Mark McLinden, the improvement in his game was instantly noticable. I think Johns' legacy will live on at Warrington long after he's back in Newcastle.

Well we've seen them in action and it seemed to me, Briers just shut up and learnt from the master
