i was that age in primary/high school that (as far as males were concerned) pretty much always nominated an aussie cricketer as their sporting hero, until this guy showed up in the late 80's & early 90's.

the only NBA coverage we could get was a late night replay on the ABC on friday nights, after one match i was hooked, i still break out the Bulls dynasty dvd's today.

he will always be the greatest, to me, of any sport.
