This guy has been signed from Wellington by you guys. He is a centre and I watched him play today for the Junior Kiwis against England U18, and I can tell you this kid is something special!!

He scored 3 tries and set up another and made many breaks in the 22-12 victory. Some of you might think "so what it is only England" He did the same against NSW Country U18 and all through the U18 Championship this year..

Well done on your signing...Keep an eye out for this kid!

Just a quotw from an NZ web page:

Wellington centre Joshua Davis picked up three tries for the Kiwis, and set up another with some devastating runs. The English found it hard to stop the bulldozing centre, who caused havoc down the right hand side of the field.

Not bad lets get him over here into our lower grades ASAP.

cool, I wonder if Mark Horo (who signed up Jack) also scouted this kid.

Who needs Crusher when you have Horo :D

This is a quote from the NZ Herald:

"Remember the name Josh Davis because you will see the Wellington teenager, who scored three tries and set up another yesterday, in the NRL with Parramatta very soon."

I havent got a clear pic of him, but ill keep looking, he is not as tall as sonny bill williams, but is stocky.....I guess we will see how he goes, but with him working next to Tahu, it will be a good learning experenice for the Kiwi.

Good stuff Carl. Thanks. Don't think he'll be straight into first grade, but will be handy and should develop well, playing for the same club as some quality guys for a few years.

sounds like a good prospect, but that's all he is at the moment - a prospect, but so was Jamie at age 15?????

could be very good though and yeah i hope Tahu is the next Tahu next year and hope Davis is not the next Dave V, cause all due respect to Dave V he has never really set the world on fire, particularly post 2001
