Junior Back to Coach the Magpies!

Andrew 'Junior' Willis is the Magpies new SG Ball coach for season 2004. He takes over from Georgy who will have Flegg. Col Stanzione will take Harold Matthews and Peter Gentle has been retained as Premiers coach.

Great to see Junior back involved with the club.

I heard willis had flegg and georgy was assisting peter. And some lesser known blokes had SG Ball.

No doubt Georgy and Peter will continue to work very closely together. It wouldn't surprise if Junior took up an assistant role throughout the year after the short junior reps season.

How good is that? Excellent news to see Andrew Willis back at the club. The man who wrote himself into Magpie folk lore with that 'never to be forgotten' field goal that sent the Magpies into the finals. and i wouldn't be surprised either Yappy. Imagine Gentle having Georgie and Junior as his right hand men! Plenty of football knowledge in that coaching staff.

Can anyone tell me if Peter Gentle is related to Ken Gentle who coached the Magpies in the 80s?
