Junior Clubs

I was interested to see that we have two players from both the Wee Waa Panthers and Penshurst RSL juniors. But the most interesting thing is that Chris Armit is a Merrylands Rams junior just like me. And if I have calculated this correctly he was part of an U12's side we used to call the machine. They were so professional and worked like they had played together for years. So I suppose no suprise atleast one of them is in the NRL.

Well without 1 of the Wee Waa Panthers (Lyon) we probalbly wouldn't have gotten the other (Cannings).

There are also two players (Langi and Gruska) from the Berala Bears.

And lucky for you guys, you now have a junior from our Tweed Heads Seagulls, Luke O'Dyer.

It is interesting to see where these guys have come from.

I mean I was also a Wentworthville junior too but never played with Jason Cayless. Did play with Daniel Bell (Jason Bell's younger brother) but that is nothing to be all that proud of.

I still fit my Merrylands Rams U14's Jersey.

I played for Merrylands 17's Last Year, Guildford the year before that.

Merrylands is a great club, good organisation for such a small club but the teams were sometimes containing members of low moral values.

Just out of interest - who r the Penshurst RSL Juniors?.....I now live at Penshurst and go and watch the Penshurst RSL teams play in the park on the weekends (during the footy season)
