The Raiders will play four of their first five games away, but will finish the regular season with three consecutive home games.

Yeah Penrith always go alright. But they have lost some of their squad to the Bears Jersey Flegg team.

I doubt the Roosters will make the grand final.

lol...Penrith's SG Ball team is currently dominating all England Under 18 teams.

We let the players we don't really care go to the bears, we kep the ones we wanted.

Jennings, Sammut and Pill will bring home the SG Ball cup for Penrith.

I've heard Jennings and Sammut are very good. I'm sure they will be promoted to Jersey Flegg at some point next year.

Does anybody know where we can find the the full draw for these comps?

I had a look on the Sportingpulse website but couldn't find it. I saw that Souths, like Canberra, have listed all their fixtures as well but I'd really like to see the draw for all teams.

Can anyone help?

Actually BroncoFAN...he is actually in the SG Ball squad.

Sammut is playing SG Ball again this year along with Jennings....which is a joke cause with their talent they should be regulars in Jersey Flegg, pushing into Reggies and next year pressing for first grade.

sammut's final year of SG ball was 2005. He is not elgible next year as he is 19.
I think sammut is to overated, he is a good player but hes not the next best thing.
He didnt even make NSW under 17 possible and probables last year.
Penrith fans only need to look at players like Timmy Grant NSW u17s this year and jennings aus schoolboys and J moors to brag about there junior talent.

timmy grant is a top player... for a lanky bloke he sure does carve up in the forward pack. i play with hes older brother :)

also i believe they shoulda left jnr moors, and the other 18/19 year olds in flegg this year... im certain they woulda came close to winning it esp with the cougars going nowhere fast in 2005:)

Oh really.

I saw the process this year of choosing the Bears SG Ball team. There was a lot of talent on display and it was thougherly scrutinized. I think it’s a bit presumptuous of you to suggest that Penrith has complete say over what players do.

This was in Rugby League Review:

The Harold Matthews (Under 16s) and SG Ball Cup (Under 18s) competition will commence on Saturday, February 25 and finish with the grand final on May 13.

A draft has been issued but a final confirmation will not be made until later in December.

The opening round draft has Canberra taking on the Sydney Roosters at Henson Park, Parramatta entertaining North Sydney at Cabramatta, Central Coast Rip is at home to Illawarra at Mingara Sports Ground, Manly play Balmain at Brookvale Oval, Penrith meet South Sydney at Western Weekender Stadium and the Bulldogs will tackle St George at Belmore Sports Ground. The Western Suburbs Magpies will have the bye in the opening round.

Both competitions will once again be played over nine rounds with the top eight sides advancing to the quarter-finals which will be held on Saturday, April 29. The semi-finals will be staged a week later on May 6.

tough draw

on the upside at least we have saints last - I can't remember the last time we got through a matts or ball match against saints without losing a few players for a while afterwards - they get some big boys in their junior teams.

only one PL trial?
