Jarryd Hayne has been named this weeks Gatorade JUnior Player of the Week after his 4 try effort in the NSW under 17's game that was played before Origin 2.

Previous Eels' winners of the award

Trent Hodgekinson
Brett Anderson - He also won player of the month for May

also on Anderson last year he played with the QLD under 17's his team mate was Karmicheal Hunt at that time HUnt and Anderson were considered to two best young talents in QLD.

Hurri I'd put Blake Green into the top group for sure.

I'd also add Tony Williams the winger to the Group as well. He is definately a talent.

Yeah, I wasn't sure about Green, put him in the lower group as if it came down to Tim Smith or Blake Green I'd go with Smith/

Blake Green will form an excellent halfs combo with Tim SMith in the future. Apart from his excellent Kicking and passing game Blake is a strong boy and would be suited to 5/8 eventhough he is playing half back for the flegg.

We have some great talent, but realistically it would be unlikely for all of those players to become future stars. If 3 or 4 become outstanding first graders and rep players that would be a terrific achievement.

well that list is already refined but yeaqh still all may not pan out.

Cut that list down from the 50-60 odd players who started the year in the Eels flegg, SG Ball and Matthews teams.

That Harold Mathews Grand Final was an absolute stunner of a game your attention would have been directed to the game for sure as Parra hung on for the victory.

Hayne is a deadset future rep player. He has many years ahead of him if Parra play thier cards right.
