Maybe because there are a lot of girls in the Shire that want to play League?
If they cut the girls out, that's playing into the NRL's hand. The "area" excuse they used to choose the women's teams. It's a step towards their grand goal....

A watched a bit of woman’s AFL last night & my god that game is atrocious.

It’s great that girls are now playing men’s sport but it was messy as, as AFL is.

The other thing league has over AFL is it is open to all shapes & sizes. All girls in AFL are the same body size/shape & no tits.
