Top of the table clash for any football fans interested in the NSW cup at North Sydney Oval.
Bears versus the Jets in the Frank Hyde Cup/Shield match.
Kickoff 4.30pm for any one interested in going back in time for an afternoon and see the two famous jerseys clash at historical North Sydney Oval, one of the true jewels in the crown of rugby league ovals in Australia.
Bears are on top of the table on 10 points and are undefeated, having disposed of last years grandfinal winners Parra/Wenty last week.
Jets are coming off a 10 all draw with an impressive Manly side ( who were also without some key players ), last weekend at Henson. Jets have lost one game this year however, but that was 1 point. And are on 7 comp points behind Norths ( and level with manly ).
So a loss to the jets would probably be in Manly's favor.
Norths are yet to win the Frank Hyde Cup since it's first game in year 2000. This is surely their best chance yet.
Jets have signed Sean RUDDER from footy overseas, and he has been training with the team, though not yet named.
Bring on the Bears.
Hope some of you from that side of the bridge can make it to the game. Should be a cracker. ;-)
Go The Bags !!!
