from the game and seriously I have never been more gutted in my life. All the resluts wwe needed to make the top8 had happened, and with us leading by 24 and Tigers getting beat I thought we may just make the Top 8! But ...what happened, I rang my mate at half time to laugh in his face but boy my phone is going buzerk! I mean ...what the happened. Stevenson really is a good prospect for the future I dunno whether we have him for next season but we GOD DAMN BETTER! I was just on the stand behind where dragons scored in the last half, and I have to say it was demorilising seeing them score so many times just in fromt of me. To be honest when Nathan Blacklock went over for his first I knew we were still in trouble and just did not have a good feeling about it all but f...sorry its all I can say...how the did that just happen...sorry I'm absolutely gutted! Manly played really well though and I know that next year is our year. We played really really well in the first half though and as I said look out for the Eales in 2005...but at the moment...I can't do anythin else but sit here in anger!

Unless you were intending on winning in round 26 by 126-0 over the semis bound Storm, then I'd suggest you were no hope for the top 8 despite what happened today.

You'd need Roosters to beat the eels
You'd need Wests Tigers to beat the Knights.........whoops!

So in other words, it was impossible.

Yes it hurts but all I can say is if we can play like we did the first half every week for 80 minutes next season we'll be looking at a top 8 position for sure, last 20 minutes let us down yet again but considering I thought the Dragons were going to belt us as we really didn't have anything to play for I'm gutted yes, that we let the lead slip but also can take plenty of positives out of the game!

And that being different to the Sharks, Tigers or Raiders making the top 8 and DESERVING it....we'd all get flogged on this years form but as a Manly supporter of course I'd PREFER to see us make the top 8! (is that you Zaphod?)

Nothing wrong with your opinion, reckon if we made the finals and played like we did the first half against the Dragons we'd have given the Roosters a mighty scare....but it's all hindsight, looking forward to next year!

I agree! If only we can put an 80 min performance like that together we would be a side to compete with! I feel the only thing that has changed is confidence in the blokes next to you to make the tackle! And a concious effort to make the tackle! Its good to see and it may have come late but atleast its giving us a better run into the off season than previous performances!
