I know most of you won't care since he is not contracted to us for next year . But was just wondering where he is going next season ?

I wonder if he is the reason we haven't been able to sign anyone recently. The guy went from being an Origin player to a bench forward who has been on the market for how long with noone signing him up?
Yes he did have a bad injury however he is not the only guy to ever get injured and he seems to be over that now but still noone wants him. The biggest mistake the guy ever made was sign with us

Totally disagree. GREAT move on his part. $1m in 3 years isn't a bad thing.

He won't get a similar paycheck again, but no matter what, he was always going to be found out. The game passed him by unfortunately - not an overly big prop who has no distinguishing footwork and no second phase play.
His greatest asset is his defensive work around the ruck to 'keep it tight' in close, and his work ethic in the hitup department - at his best he made big meterage in games, but it was generally off a lot of hitups (he'd be the 6-7m kind of guy rather than the 9-10m kind of guy).

He's probably a $150-200k type of player still, but if he'll get more than that in France, then good luck to him!

At this stage possibly France

So no chance of him staying? More the point he is definitely leaving.

I'm thinking this has to be a bit of an indicator. If Poore is definitely leaving (Horo too), we either have replacements in the wings or RS is happy with what we have beyond these too. Either way its fairly positive.

Would have to think , that his asking price is to much . Otherwise there would be Atleast 1 or two clubs showing some sort of Intrest , bargain buys with his experience for backup is always good . Suppose he doesn't want to transtition from 350 k down to a minimum contract.

I can't work out what he did wrong at the Eels. He is better value than Allgood, Lasalo, Tautai for starters....

And if you add up their salaries he was still on more than all three of them combined.

What Salary are all of them on? Do you work as their Accountant - or at the Tax Office?
At least Poore is a first grader..more than can be said about the other trio.......

Yes he is a first grader, no complaints here and a more than handy one. But he came to Parra on big money and an origin front rower and delivered SFA. Not all his fault injuries haven't helped him but honestly he won't be missed and if he was as good as you say i'm sure Ricky would have offered him another deal. Actually if he was any good he would have had his future wrapped up well before now.

Whatever he did wrong, word has gotten around all the other clubs because he is still unsigned for next year.

And Allgood was better than him this year. Averaged more metres per game too.

Simple logic mate - if none of them are first graders then they won't be on much money, will they?

Meanwhile Justin Poore is on an Origin player's contract, widely reported to be $350k a year.

Chances are he's on more than the other three combined.
