Lol. First time in over two decades. What a rebounding machine. Then again, if it was going to happen against anyone, it had to be the Knicks.

What a huge game.

31 points, 31 rebounds, 13 offensive rebounds...wow

But Beasley as well...lookin good...dropped another 35 points to go with the 42 previous game. Is he starting to realise his potential?

Minnesota might just have stumbled into a decent team despite their best effort to screw it up. Sometimes I get the feeling that giving Love playing time is like pulling teeth for their coach. Anyone with any sense could see he's a very good player since last season.

With Rubio to join their team eventually, they could be a playoff team in a couple of seasons.

You have to wonder if Rubio will come to the NBA next season. From memory, it's going to need a significant buy-out to get out of his Barca contract.

Plus the whole CBA issue just muddies the waters further.

Beasley seems to be playing free of Wade...

At times last year when Wade was telling him what to do he really wasn't responding to it at all, and IMO often played better when Wade was off the court...

There was also an article IIRC that said that Wade did not take a liking to Beasley... Maybe mountains out of Mole Hills, but the bloke just seems more relaxed at the Wolves...

Also on that note, i saw Miami Beasley jerseys at the addidas factory in aurburn for $60 yesterday. (also Celtics KG, Kobe LA, Nash Phoenix and Melo Denver all for 60 if anyone is after them).

That's what I said at the start of the year...and got told I was nuts.
5 guys who were top 6 draft picks, logic says thats quite abit of talent, futher more you've got Corey Brewer (pick 7), Darko (pick 2), and Telfair (pick 13) who are all in their early to mid 20's as well. If they can keep the bulk of their roster together I can see them doing similar things to what the Thunder did last season.

Flynn
Rubio
Johnson
Beasley
Love

That's a solid young nucleus

that would never work,it would be more like
C-Darko
PF-Love
SF-Beasley
SG-Johnson
PG-Rubio
6th man-Flynn
others,Webster(best preseason player),Ellington(could be a steve kerr type)
and i think we have around 7-8 mill for getting a few vets for next year

I didn't meAn it as that's going to be their starting line up what I meant is the have a solid group to build their team around. K Love is playing amazing atm, as good as any big man in the league, if Darko and Beasley can continue what their doing, or in Beasley's case continue to improve steadily, it'll give them one of the best frontcourts in the league. Long term I think Johnson could possibly develop into a Joe Johnson type, if that happens and Rubio gets his arse to America than they could be anything

Hope so. Been tough supporting the timberwolves. Never have any luck in the draft. Hopefully Rubio kills it when he comes over...
