Based on everything (results, blooding of youngsters, injury management, recruitment, retention etc) I'd give him a C-. Probably our best year since 2005. However it should take more than a C- next year for him to get another contract.

The Tigers are currently in 8th spot after beating the Bulldogs. It is Round 26 and we are in the Top 8. Although that should change in the next 24 hours.

Yep. If only...

To think that we could miss the finals by a single game, when we lost four by two points or less during the season, is even harder to take than missing out on the back of a poor points differential. Three of those four teams we narrowly lost to will be contesting the finals series...

Yeah we've had a few good moments in the last two months, but in the final wash-up the team has failed in the most heartbreaking way imaginable. We were competitive pretty much all season, but we still can't find a way to get into the eight.

It's gonna be a long off-season...
