This is from Fox Sports!!!!!

Anzac Test squad named
April 1, 2004

MELBOURNE hooker Cameron Smith was one of three Storm players today included in a preliminary 25-man Australian squad for the Anzac Test against New Zealand in three weeks.

Smith, halfback Matt Orford and five-eighth Scott Hill were included alongside likely captain Darren Lockyer and 11 other members of last year's victorious Kangaroo tour squad.

National selectors also recalled St George Illawarra captain Trent Barrett as well as Brisbane centre Brent Tate, who has only played one game since his return from shoulder problems.

There are five players in the squad who haven't played Test football – Penrith's Joel Clinton, Sydney Roosters pair Justin Hodges and Chris Flannery, and Melbourne duo Orford and Smith.

Squad: Luke Bailey (St George Illawarra), Trent Barrett (St George Illawarra), Danny Buderus (Newcastle), Petero Civoniceva (Brisbane), Joel Clinton (Penrith), Michael Crocker (Sydney Roosters), Craig Fitzgibbon (Sydney Roosters), Chris Flannery (Sydney Roosters), Bryan Fletcher (Souths), Matthew Gidley (Newcastle), Craig Gower (Penrith), Scott Hill (Melbourne), Justin Hodges (Sydney Roosters), Ben Kennedy (Newcastle), Brett Kimmorley (Cronulla), Darren Lockyer (Brisbane), Anthony Minichiello (Sydney Roosters), Matt Orford (Melbourne), Matt Sing (North Queensland), Cameron Smith (Melbourne), Timana Tahu (Newcastle), Brent Tate (Brisbane), Shaun Timmins (St George Illawarra), Trent Waterhouse (Penrith), Shane Webcke (Brisbane).

No Phil Bailey, no surprise.

But whats that merkin Barrett doing in the squad ???

Five minutes into the game and he'll break a fingernail and take 5 weeks off 'till it grows back to the length he likes.

Trent Barrett? Has he learned to place the ball over the line yet?

Full credit to Kimmorley the genius. It will be a shame when he's Australian half but Gould picks some ARL stooge for the NSW job.

one word about Kimmorley making it: JOKE

Pissed off because Dykes didn't make it eh?

Don't you worry about that. One day i'm sure your pathetic half will be able to play Test footy.

Congradulations to BK! Totally deserved. I wonder what his relationship with Bennett will be like.

Only 4 Broncos which was a surprise. I wouldn't have Tate, but that's just me. I hope Stevo plays Origin this year, he is looking good so far.

From those 25 my side would be . . .

1. D. Lockyer (c)
2. T. Tahu
3. M. Gidley
4. J. Hodges
5. A. Minichiello
6. S. Hill
7. B. Kimmorley
8. S. Webcke
9. C. Smith
10. J. Clinton
11. L. Bailey
12. C. Fitzgibbon
13. B. Kennedy

14. P Civoneceva
15. C. Gower
16. B. Flethcher
17. C. Flannery

Should see them whinging anf bitching on the Eels forum about Hindmarsh not being selected. Good club player but I think he has shown time and time again that when it comes to rep footy, he's just not there. My opinion only. Now wait for the bites.
