Who would you select as captain of the Kiwis this year?

Asotasi was the first choice until injured, then Cayless led us to the World Cup. Downside of Cayless is age, and probably not in our top three players, Asotasi has the terrible 2007 debacle, hasn't won a game as captain apart from against France and led the rebellion against Kemble (probably that last point is a plus! haha).

Just interested in people's thoughts.

I honestly thought Cayless was a bit hard done by to lose it the first time. That said it allowed Wiki to become captain, and in turn that was possibly one of the best decisions the NZRL ever did.

I think Cayless now knows his role in the side and can get the guys around him to rise for the match. I think Asotasi will enjoy not having to worry about Kiwi captaincy for a little while and focus on returning to the form we all know he has.
