Kiwis coach Stephen Kearney has named his side to take on the Kangaroos in next Friday's Anzac test.

Only one Warriors player - Shaun Johnson - features in the side, while Penrith Panthers star Dallin Watene-Zelezniak has been named after previously missing out on opportunities to play for New Zealand due to by injury (2014 Four Nations) and suspension (2015 Anzac Test).

Jesse Bromwich will captain the side for the first time.

Yeah, those last 3 wins v Australia have made me very angry with him.

Why leave Luke out? His form has been mixed, but he still came up with 2 try assists against the Dragons. The Kiwis really need some experience in the spine and I think he would have stepped up if given the chance.

Even out of form surely he's a better option than Nikorima and Brown who don't even start at hooker for the clubs.
