Bloody hell. What little I've read here it seems that there's a group of contributors are putting themselves at risk of severely damaging their hamstrings from such massive knee-jerk reactions to last night's result.
Let's be realistic, the Dragons were the better team and deserved it.
However, after 15 minutes I couldn't believe we were down 18 zip. I actually thought, up to that point, that the Sharks looked the best they had all year. We were absolutely smashing them in defence, driving them back, and looking like we were totally up for.
3 half-chances taken by the Dragons and it's 18-0. It happens.
It was just one of those nights where everything they did came off.
I remember about 10 years ago when the Broncos and Canberra were at their peaks, those clubs met and the scoreling ended up 24-0 to the Raiders.
Did the Broncos throw in the towel for the rest of the season then? No. They picked themselves up, dusted themselves off, and came out the next week and smashed whoever they played.
That is not the only result like that either. There are plenty of instances of meetings between two sides at the top of their game where one side just has the midas touch all night and comes away with a big win.
It's round8 FFS, it's hardly the death-knell.
I'll have to watch it again, but I actually thought there were plenty of positives for the Sharks last night. The last thing we need is wholesale changes
