Clinical effort today.

For me the big positive was the first 10 minutes of the 2nd half, not conceding with all that possession against us. Sure, 2 tries were denied by the video ref but it was a reward for effort and commitment in defence which wasn't there last year and i have no doubt that last year newcastle score in that period and the game is won by 6 points or less either way.

3 Cronk
2 Keary
1 Latrell

Honourable mention to everyone else except teddy who needs to find his feet offensively in the team.

Teddy will be right. Just needs time. Fullback is a hard position to adapt to new combinations.

3 Keary. What a f**king player!
2 Cronk. What a f**king player!!
1 Fergo. Absolutely on fire. Long may he continue.

Only round 3 and Roosters looking sharp as f**k already

What’s even scarier is Tedesco hasn’t even found full throttle yet.

BTW Keary is a gun. We need him in origin

3 Cronk
2 Keary (Including he best individual act of brilliance so far this season)
1 Fergo

Special mention could have gone to one of many but Bo Radley really caught my eye

3 points - Cooper Cronk. Scored 1 try, had 4 try assists involved in just about everything last night. Top drawer effort.

2 points - Luke Keary. Power, pace and guile last night. Scored 1 try by using his pace and power, and the flick pass for the Radley try was pure guile (with possibly a bit of ass throw in).

1 point: Blake Ferguson. Ran hard all night and other than 1 bad play the ball had a great night in attack.

I really enjoyed watching Cronk do all the things Mitchell couldn’t do for us. I also think we should sign Fergo on a one year deal every year. He’s been a revelation.

3. Keary
2. Cronk
3. Fergo

In with tommy on this one

3 Keary
2 Cooper
1 Fergo

Have to say Radkey is really looking a good confident young kid. Love his defence and energy. Love him being an option in the bench.

Really love the balance of our halves, cooper and Keary really compliment each other beautifully. Coops management, class and game intelligence and Kearys directness and ability to get the ball to Lats and co when they need it.

Agree on Radley... looks to able to play back row pretty comfortably.. has some footwork and hits low and hard in defense... Can obviously play hooker too if necessary..

Much prefer a utility that can play back row as opposed carrying a specialist hooker/half like when we had Hastings..

I like him too. I just hope we lock him in to a decent long term deal. He’s shown enough in the limited exposure he’s had on the field to indicate he’s worth hanging on to.

Tremendous talent. Pretty much has it all...just lacking a bit of size but I feel it won't stop him.

Very strong and has a real bit of Bunny Reilly about him when he hits. Perfect technique.

Radley just looks like a natural footballer. One of those kids that is comfortable no matter where he plays. I think he’ll play plenty of games for us as he looks tonhsve the want and drive to make it for us. Local kid as well who loves the club.

Think we benefit so much by giving jake a longer spell and having Rads come on. The energy almost lifts and the middle still stays nice and tight with his defence.

For mine jake needs to ease up on the defence and focus a little more on the attacking side. Radley seems to play more direct and give coops good ball, which is what jake needs to be doing as well.
