I think the Premier League team has a very strong look about it this week, and will only get stronger as more players come back for the top side.

We have Gavin Quinn, Todd Bates and Mathew Kennedy back from firstgrade - Trent Esatheo back from injury and Michael Young, Luke Mercer and Riley Brown up from Jersey Flegg.
Dean Amos should be playing better every week, Luke Mercer needs to make an impression, Trent Esatheo will be dead keen to impress everyone and Quinn, Kennedy and Bates will want to keep their names fresh in the mind of the firstgrade coach.
Souths have had mixed form with 2 wins and 2 losses. One of their wins was over the team running third.
I think we have the team to beat anyone except the top sides this week. I think we will get our first win.

One guy who is missing from the team is Luke Dureau, who had a great game and scored two tries last week against Newtown. The reason Luke is missing is because the Knights have drafted seven players into the lower placed clubs in the Newcastle comp., which means Dureau will be playing halfback for Waratah-Mayfield against Lakes. To me this could only mean that Dureau is being given a shot at impressing at halfback. Dureau has always wanted to play halfback but has never been able to push the coaches little fair haired boy, Tyrie, out of the spot. In the games Dureau has played at halfback I like him more than Tyrie because he is a more instinctive player. Tyrie works hard at being a playmaker and is in everything all game. You can see by the way the coach goes to him after every game that everything he does is done under instructions, which he no doubt carries out perfectly. On the other hand, Dureau does far less work as a playmaker, but he sees things unfold in front of him and puts in kicks and passes that just about always come off. Tyrie might just be more able to perform the different skills of the game, but Dureau has the knack of making simple things work.
