Just heard the first home game for us against the Goosters is a Sunday game on the 18th April (mark it down as a must see.) That's good news,, it was mooted as being a Friday night game, but speaking selfishly I am more than pleased it's a Sunday game, and I think the club (ours) would be too.

I wanted it to be a Friday night game... I love Friday night games. But even so I just can't wait for the first home game.

I like friday night games best.

It has better atmosphere :)

Sunday is more family day and i know the club prefers that day.

Yeah I like Friday Night games as well cuz it's built as being the match of the round and if Knights V Goosters isn't match of the round then I aint here.

What is the Friday Night game that week?

The Roosters requested it be a Sunday game, as most of their previous games will be Fiday Night games. It will be the match of the round, no doubts, just on Sunday

I was looking forward to it being a Friday Night, I will be there anyway, so I guess it really doesn't matter if it is a Friday or Sunday.

So let me get this right, because the Goosters requested that the game be on a Sunday, the game is a Sunday?

That's the story I heard. Not much different to us asking for our first five games to be away because of the stadium thing though.

Yeah but see us asking for them, is actually reasonable, because there could be an issue with public liability if the stadium doesnt meet safety standards...

Just because most of their previous games are Friday night games, doesnt seem like a decent reason to me, but the NRL accepted it as reasonable, so who am I to complain about it

I hope that doesn't come true. I'm best man at a wedding (I prefer to think second best man - obviously the best man is the one getting married) on the Sunday afternoon. I cannot miss this game.
My friend is a Knights season ticket holder, and I'm planning on using one of his tickets for this game. The only way this is going to happen is if it's on the Friday.

I think I'm just gonna have to say I can't make it to the wedding.

It's definately on the Sunday. The times have been released for Round 6. I'm going to be there, happier that it's a Sunday now! :D

being selfish...the only way i can really make it to games is on saturdays - which is next to impossible because the Knights are on TV so often, and also reduced crowd numbers and revenue for the club. being 4 hours from Newie blows...

Don't do that, just bring one of them little portable tvs, if it comes time for you to do your part, simply tell them to wait till the next add 8)

Thanks for the kind words of support, Risa.

Me thinks it's time for somebody to find themselves a new best man.
