This is a copy of the wrapup from my regular Knights post in WORL.
A fair distribution of Dally M points for this game would be;
3 - A Johns
2 - A Johns
1 - A Johns
Johns was just amazing today. In the end he was just playing with them.
The Knights defence was poor in the middle of the ground. In part this was due to the wet ground, with their small nippy blokes on our big blokes, but it can't be overstated how much we need Buderus in defence. John Morris was pretty good and is of first grade standard in attack and defence, but it goes without saying that he is not in the class of the incumbent Australian hooker.
A couple of players who did well were the young guns in the forwards, Perry and Simpson. Perry is a bit of a hothead and gives away a few silly penalties, but he has some mongrel in him and is becoming a real force to be reckoned with. Simpson was as solid as ever in defence and is now starting to become a punishing attacker. These two are the biggest improvers for the Knights this year.
Kennedy had a very quiet game for the second week in a row.
O'Davis adds a new dimension to the Knights - Schichofske did nothing wrong but was outplayed by Robbie O.
Albert, Gidley, McDougall, Ryder and Robbie O got to put on a backline display whenever Joey got sick of doing it himself.
Bugger wet weather football - Knights don't play that game - just chuck it around and see what happens.
