Mitch Butfield played very strongly yesterday. For mine he's close to being considered a future top grader.

The ground announcer called Rhys Davies, Rhys Davis today......i thought that was funny considering the club has a photo of his cousin Nathan Davis as his profile........

Yeh, well a lot the Welsh pronounce Davies the same as Davis. Case in point Jonathon Davies (Davis) who played for Wigan in the 80s- early 90s. He might have got confused with him too.

That's all well and good but it doesn't excuse the fact that he was calling him "Rice Davis"

Ray Stone and Bev both gained their 3rd selection in the CC Team of the week.
Stones numbers were outstanding A & D.
Surely the Kane Evans experiment is over after his 5 minutes last week. Stone looks to be the future.
Sometimes numbers lie. Anyone present for the CC have an opinion?

Stone's numbers were very impressive but Mitch 'semi-pro' Butfield put up even better numbers, indicating the opposition probably weren't very good, even for NSW Cup.

Here's the stats from the last time Evans and Butfield played together: https://www.nswrl.com.au/siteassets...tle-knights-v-wentworthville-magpies-rd-7.pdf
And why I asked if anyone saw the game live. I saw Evans live on Easter Monday and although his "numbers" looked ok, in my opinion he was worse than ordinary.
