I had assumed Blacktown was working for them. Is it costing too much, less desirable for young recruits or they just want every merkin co-located?

Im guessing all their juniors and backups are getting sick of having to drive out to f**king Blacktown every time they have to play.

I would assume that at least some of them would be from the Northern Beaches, and get sent out to play for Blacktown. They are Manly’s only reserve grade team, so if you’re not playing paying first grade that’s the only team you’re getting a game with if your contracted to them.

He also managed to negotiate for his driver to get a top 30 deal with us so he can sleep on the way home after training. Not sure how he'll manage if we get rid of Lussick

We used 49 last year, with 19 of them playing ten or more games. It's good that we can give youngsters a run against the grownups.

^^^^ I read that NSW Cup article during the week and the first thing I thought was that the work experience kid (or was it AI) just didn’t know enough about our club period. He looked at stats and that was it. What he didn’t see was that Flegg was doing so well that those players who got a chance in NSW Cup were often left overs from Flegg.

Nick Lenaz is playing in Nth Qld for a local club and doing pre-season with the Cows, hoping to get a reggies contract.

Was it that guy that there were big arguments about him on here for not getting a development contract ? He was at Manly last season.
