...Another prime time performance from this bloke. 65 points today vs. the Jailblazers. Absolutely raped them with that insane 3 at the end of regulation...

he's been trying to be a team player for so long that i think he deserves a game or two where he can hog the ball and destroy the opposition

Following up that 65 point performance is yet another 50 point game. This time, against the Twolves...

Kobe knows his teamates are rubbish. After the Nuggets destroyed them, something had to be done. They were on a massive skid.

They are a much much better team when they have Kobe, Walton, and Odom all aboard. I'd like to see their win/loss record when all three are available...

Next game is against Memphis, one of the worst defensive teams there is. Hopefully he cracks the 50 mark again...Do it Kobe!!!

Well well well...Kobe does it once more...Drops 60, this time against the Grizzlies.

Last 3 games:

Against Portland : 65 points on 23/39 shooting, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals

Against Minnesota : 50 points on 17/35 shooting, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals

Against Memphis : 60 points on 20/37 shooting, 5 rebounds, 4 assists

\\\\:D/ Someone wants more MVP votes...

This is beginning to look rediculous. Another 50+ points game for kobe, his fourth in a row. Is this the norm from this bloke??

f*ck me. Kobe could average 40 pts a game a season if he didn't have to pass it. That just lowers the quality of Wilt Chamberlins accomplishes back in his day where he never had to pass it.

if he gets 5 X 50 he should get it although yeh his team's poor record would rule him out...i find his achievement even more astonishing given that teams know that the lakers are a one man team and that closing down kobe means closing down the lakers. Guess you can't stop a true champion

True, but the 4 teams he did it against will all be in the lottery when May rolls around.
Still, 4 x 50s is no small accomplishment, but it plays second to the season Nash and Dirk are having and what they are contributing to their teams....wins.
Last player to go back to back on the road for 50 was Bernard King.

Closing down Kobe means closing down the Lakers??

Have you seen them play?? Imo, Walton and Odom are what's keeping this team afloat. They where rubbish with just Kobe and the scrubs/benchies. Injuries are finally coming good now...

Kobe....One of the finest scores this league has ever seen. Possibly one of the TOP 3 all time.
