Kogarah has won out over Wollongong as the St George Illawarra board's preferred home venue for the opening weekend of the finals. A proposal to consider the Dragons a regional team and thereby allow them to play in Wollongong the following weekend has been rejected.

Considering that was yesterday's SMH, and Doust is on record saying no decision was to be made till after last night (one would assume Monday) it's highly possible that this is just another bad rumour.

They can't use our record to justify any decision anymore. (still would prefer a win last night though).
