Isn't this bloke at the Knights? He's been chosen in the Qld u/20 for the u/20 origin game. He was born in Gerringong, that's just south of Kiama, for the uninitiated. What a f......n traitor. You lot up there should disown him. Is this Bennett's influence. His brother Tariq, where do these silly names come from, is committed to NSW, so he should, he went to Kiama High. I'm confused, can somebody do something about the silly State of Origin qualification rules.

bizarre... he's been injured much of the year thus far, too. just more QLD trying to steal our players, nothing unusual.

He played at the Broncos for 2 years and apparently played his 1st "senior" game up there. 18 years out of 20 he lived in NSW but somehow he is a Qlder. Its obscene

It's where you played your first senior football after age 16.
He was a Bronco at that stage - but he has spent all but a few football seasons of his life in NSW.
He's still injured till round 10.

Depends on where he grew up and played his first football as well.
Played his first football in Gerringong. His family are good friends of the Cronins. He's kidding. He hasn't thought this one through. As I said he's brothers alligences are to NSW.

Ashton played for Fiji. Seems to me they don't give a crap where the jerseys came from or what they represent

Clearly further evidence that Queenslanders do as they please. This is the sort of stuff Stuart should pin on each player locker come origin night. Photos of Inglis, folau and this kid with the word traitor beside it. It would add 20 % to each player i believe.

And lets make sure he does not forget to pin the same thing on James Tamou's locker.

Moved to Brisbane (the Broncos) with his brothers at age 15, or thereabouts.

Apparently these U/20's teams dont mean that they have pledge their allegence as yet.

Which just highlights the fact that anyone signing an NYC contract should pledge their allegence to whatever state/country then and there, and have it sorted. Now it turns out any borderline players just make their decision based on what jersey they are offered first as, like most people, you take the oppurtunities as they come.
