I notice there has been a lot of speculation on Inu's future and it seems fairly divided. Its obvious that he is prepared to fight it out here for his contract and does not want to leave but is he worth it?

What does everyone think?

Keep him or release him?

personally id keep him and look to extend his contract for less money (200K max). Inu is the type of player who can pull off big plays, he is quick and strong just low on confidence. He isn't playing horribly rather just not to the standard we expect but all he needs is some time to work on his game.

I will say this and probably get bagged for it but i think kiwi players are only good for 2-3 years : ) they jsut dont seem to hold form for like 12 years like ...
look at cayless,puletua-lauititi,vaeleki,asotasi- i could name a heap more but if you realy go thru it a lot only have 3-4 good years at best

I would keep him, but on a reduced contract. 200k max, if he doesn't like it to bad. Unless he finds his best.

If he says he wants out, then release him.

If he wants to stay, then keep him for the length of his contract. He is still in our best 5 outside backs.

If he wants another contract, then offer him DA's perception of his value at that time. Inu can either take or leave it, even if it ends up less than his current contract.

When does his contract run out? If it`s the end of next year, then that`s the time to decide - not yet.
By the way, I think his defence is better than Ben Smith`s. If Inu had played against Penrith last week, I reckon we would have won (just).

I think he would have scored 3 tries with the game was played and we wouldnt even have this thread

I think Inu should be kept, and be played into form, by giving him the goal kicking duties and by playing him on the wing.

Maybe DA should play him at fullback tomorrow....maybe that will give him some room to move, and be a confidence builder.

He should not be pushed out.

All this talk of a reduction in money on his next contract is pure speculation, no one knows how much his on now.

I can't really see him going elsewhere. Sure the Dogs are rumoured to want him as a winger but that would be a pay cut I reckon. The only other option would be the Goosters paying overs out of desperation.

Hindy111i think your kiwi theory is crap.
Just as many Australian players fall away, and all have differing reasons (Tim Smiths Medical issues for example). Then you can look at players like Joe G who was sensational, fell away, and now at Parra he is playing exceptional footy.

Oh, and IMO, Cayless was great for the Eels for a lot more than 2-3 years!

WHY ARE WE FORUMERS SO QUICK TO SHAFT PLAYERS , JUST BECAUSE THEY ARE OUT OF FORM?

Remember when Mark Tubby Taylor was out of form, and couldnt score runs to save his life? Then he came back and equalled Sir Dons innings record.

Why not show support for our guys. Believe it or not, they ARE commited to the Blue and Gold. Talk to them. They love Parramatta.

The problem at Parra is a lot bigger than one or two out of form players.

Thats my rant, thankyou.

Totally agree, I think given a bit of time Krisnan will come back into form, I dont think we can afford to let him go, then another team will get his good form when he comes good.

Signed in good faith so why should he be released? If Hayne demanded a release we'd all be spewing. Just like Jamie Lyon walking out. Contracts should be honoured both ways.
