At the start of the fox game bulldogs v dragons the commentator said Mann had been resigned didn't hear if it was till 2019 or 2020 .

Basically. Mann will continue to be dicked around because he's being seen purely as a utility.
Maybe but if he signs thats the role he accepts. Cant complain about it if he chooses to stay. If theres a better offer he will take that just remains to be seen where that comes from.

Craig Bellamy rated him as a centre. But that was back in the day when he had a coach who backed him, invested in his ability and gave him consistent time to develop in a certain position.

Given the way supercoach dicks Mann around week after week and seems to show zero confidence in him I don't know how anyone expects Mann to do an amazing job.

It's clear the kid has talent yet we have a coach who's managed him so poorly his confidence seems to be completely shot.

I can't believe the club has invested heavily in our juniors and yet expect McJetski to develop them into first graders, because his efforts with Mann are pathetic.
If the Club offered Mann unders, I doubt he will stay.

I wouldn't blame him. The one thing that impresses me about the Dragons is that they offer an educational pathway with the UOW. I'm not sure other clubs offer this and whether players take advantage of it. I know Thompson and Packer have made good on this offer. Have any of the other players taken advantage of this opportunity?

Yeah, fair call. Heard Millward say the club recruited him as a left centre.

Yes I'm pretty sure we lead the way with this. You know with our ties with UOW you would think a smart board/CEO could arrange govt. funding for a hi tech training centre to be jointly used by the uni and Dragons.

Really good idea there!

I'm not sure, but might find that the UOW has to pick up the cost rather than through Govt funding.

The Brumbies were training or at least using the University of Canberra facilities for a point but I'm not sure the cost was picked up by Govt.

The uni picked up the cost I think, but in return had sponsorship activities and exposure through the Brumbies on to a world stage which was obviously appealing as it attracts students from different countries.

No club knows what the cap is going to be so most clubs will hold off on signing players exception the Tigers as they are shit and have no choice.

Blair has stated he wants to stay in Brissie and honestly he is an utter stain anyway.

Johnston isn't coming that has been made clear and I am glad he is a waste of money.

Tagatese, Latimore or Passi they won't totally replace Packer but they offer experience at a reasonable price and all three won't let you down.

When latimore was at the club I liked what he did it was simple but effective.

Why are you always advocating that we recruit 'average players' when we just let go a top line prop. Golden rule is like for like or better. This rule does not apply to any of the players you mention.

With Te-Maire Martin on his way out of the Panthers don't be surprised to see Mann on the way in as an option at 6
They have Moylan at 5/8 now and have brought through young Edwards as there fullback . But if they did offer Mann the spot he should take it in a heartbeat .

People make it sound like Mann hasn't been given a go.

Sure he hasn't been played in one position but he has played first grade if he had been left in reserves for months at a time then you could say he hasn't been given a go.

Como I am not sure why you persist in your Mann crusade but honestly other players have been dealt with worse then Kurt ie Hutchison and Nona.

Also he is a solid player thats it.
