The longer it takes for Mann to re-sign the less chance they will. A bit of a worry that since Millward's update when he said that they tabled an offer and things were looking positive, nothing done.

Pretty sure he said that Dugan's was looking positive as well at 1 stage.

Agree, it's a worry, especially if he has a couple of 'blinders' during the 'we're being patient' negotiations.
I reckon there'd be plenty of clubs with astute recruiters and coaches swooping including ESL for such a young back utility.
His Manager knows it too.
I think Mary's inadvertently made him worth a lot more than he was as our top try scoring winger last year, simply by f**king him around.

We really need mann and Id give him another crack at fullback You have to feel sorry for him as management are touting him as the x factor for a utility role . Maybe Kurt would like to nail down a position so he can play to his potential . This will pan out like Bird we cant ( wont) offer him a starting position so if another club does who can begrudge him the chance Give him the number 1 next year and back him we can then move him to centres etc while the locals are biding their time in reggies . Lose mann and our reserve backs are short on experience and we dont need to be a used player to plug the gaps

McCrone has been shit and gets dropped but still in the 17 for now.

If Hutchison wasn't injured he would have been 7 McCrone probably on the bench and Mann playing for Illawarra.

Yeah I know it seems strange to be at an impasse over 2 or 3 years but that's what I've heard. I reckon Mann would want more than that. But I can't see the club offering him more than 3.

No way in hell the club should offer anymore then a 2 or 3 year deal.

He is a good utility and thats it.

I am not even sure what position he will play next year a move to 1 is on the cards.

You can't go longer than three years for him. He has proven he has excellent utility value and did a good job on the wing last year. But really he isn't a 'proven' first grader. Some will blame Mary/the club for that but reality is if he as good as some on here make him out to be one of the other 15clubs would be lining him up or would've already signed him.

Just maybe the 'professionals' know more than us.

In saying that I really hope the club can keep him as he has a lot to offer to the squad.
